Staff work and coordination of government

The Van Long Reserve Management Board always plays a responsible role in preserving and protecting natural resources when actively cooperating with the People's Committee of the relevant buffer communes to implement compensation and clearance work; and also actively implement forest fire protection and fire prevention solutions at the special forest, as well as review and re-sign contracts with households. citizens receive forest protection securities, in order to ensure effective and sustainable forest management.

Protection and protection of forest fires

Management, protection of forests and forest fire prevention in Van Long Reserve are enhanced effectively, ensuring that forest resources are always preserved, without serious violations. Many incidents such as logging, illegal stones, landslides, unusual wildlife deaths... were detected and dealt with in a timely manner. The forest fire prevention and fighting plan is implemented in close coordination between the rangers and local authorities, contributing to the sustainable protection of forest ecosystems.

Sustainable forest development, climate change response

Van Long actively develops sustainable forests linked to climate change response through planting 1.42 hectares of replacement forest in Gia Lap commune (now in Gia Van commune), creating forest protection stock records for the population, and closely monitoring the invasive status of hyacinths and promptly reporting abnormal effects from floods and storms to the flooded forest ecosystem

Implementation of provincial directives and schemes

The Van Long Reserve Management Board actively implements provincial-level directives and schemes on alternative forest planting, forest environmental services and eco-tourism development in special forests; and also cooperates with the advisory unit to develop a plan to adjust the functional subdivision, ensuring compliance with the practices and direction of sustainable development of the reserve.

Raising awareness of conservation to the community

Not only in coordination with local authorities in communes to promote conservation. Van Long Conservation Area Management has actively promoted communication and education to raise awareness of nature conservation, especially aimed at the population of the buffer zone. Through 3 propaganda conferences, 4 mobile propaganda rounds on forest fire prevention and conservation, and cooperation with Nho Quan C High School organized a practical experience session for 12th grade students, the messages of forest protection and nature conservation were spread practically, effectively and close to each object.

Responsible Ecosystem Development

Responsible ecosystem development at Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve is about preserving the balance between people and nature. Every action that protects forests, conserves rare species or develops sustainable ecotourism not only contributes to the preservation of biodiversity, but also affirms the shared responsibility for a green Van Long — harmonious and sustainable for ourselves and for future generations.
